EDUCATION: I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration.

MISSION & VALUES: My upbringing instilled old fashioned values in me such as honesty, integrity, humility and working hard to achieve results. My father is a successful businessman and he always attributed his success to setting goals, working hard to reach them and conducting business with integrity.

CHARACTERISTICS: I’m a naturally curious person and am always asking “why”! It drove my parents crazy when I was a kid but is a great trait to possess as a recruiter. I tend to be on the shy side which is uncharacteristic of most recruiters. I wasn’t a naturally gifted recruiter but overcame this by working harder than everyone around me and continual learning.

WANTS: I want to positively impact the lives of those I come in contact with at VitalSource – whether they are employees, candidates or clients.

MISSION & VALUES: I strongly believe in developing relationships with our employees as they are the heart of our company; I strive daily to provide support for them to achieve their goals and aspirations. The value I hold in the highest regard is integrity, I always approach each interaction with anyone with the mind set of how would I want to be treated, which I believe is the foundation to integrity.

CHARACTERISTICS: I think my best characteristic is that I am extremely patient. I’m always willing to listen and take the time needed to support others in their pursuit of excellence. Another quality that I possess is the ability to stay calm in stressful situations.

WANTS: I want to always pursue excellence in everything that I do. Being the best that I can possibly be for myself and our employees. Lastly, I want to be known for the positive effect I have made on the lives of our employees.
